Writing Resources
Excellent writing resources for both Undergraduate and Graduate students exist both on campus and beyond. Below, you’ll find information on writing resources here at UCR as well as helpful links and readings to support your writing.
Graduate Writing Center
The Graduate Writing Center offers writing support and instruction to all UCR graduate students and postdoctoral scholars through free workshops and writing consultations. They provide writing assistance in any academic genre during any stage of the writing process (e.g. abstracts, grant applications, developing journal articles, CV and resume basics, and many more). You can find more about them here.
Undergraduate Writing Support Program
The UCR WSP (Writing Support Program) supports undergraduate student writing through one on one consultations, workshops, and more. Writing tutors are available to support everything from forming a good argument to preparing writing for applications to graduate programs, scholarships, and more. You can find more information here.
Public Scholarship Support
For students interested in public-facing Religious Studies scholarship, Sacred Writes is an organization that provides support, resources, and strategies for such work. In addition to media partnerships, they offer fellowship training for scholars of religion looking to participate in public-facing work. You can learn more about Sacred Writes here.
